Story

Self-discovery, growth, love, and acceptance have been Stacey’s life journey and continue to be her motivation today.  As a child, she experienced the love of a nurturing mother, the trauma of a broken and damaging marital relationship between her parents, and the isolation of hiding what was really happening on the inside.  These challenges developed a passion for self-understanding, desire to do life differently, and an awareness that often, people live a different reality beneath the surface. This environment fostered a passion for connecting with people at this deeper level.  Stacey pursued a major in Psychology with a minor in Business at Auburn University, wanting to learn how to help others on their personal journey.

Though feeling a passionate call toward the helping field, Stacey pursued business as a safer and more stable career path.  She spent the next 18 years developing a robust but unfulfilling corporate career.  At the age of 38 she married, and after having their first child, realized she was not where she was called to be.  Spending a lot of time in quiet and prayer, she was brought back to her passion of helping.  With the support of her husband and two little ones, Stacey completed her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Richmont Graduate University, learning how to be the helper while Christ is being the Healer.

Stacey believes our souls long for harmony through a healthy balance of our mind, body, and spirit.  As such, she takes a holistic approach in her clinical work.  Believing we all have a story that matters, she focuses on helping people find what they need by understanding and owning their life story.  Utilizing somatic, emotion focused, and cognitive awareness, Stacey walks with others to help them understand themselves and their story in a new way. Through the power of self-awareness, healing relationships, and the truth of one’s identity in Christ, restoration can be found.

Stacey and her husband enjoy traveling, creating new adventures, exploring the outdoors, and trying different cuisines with their two boys. She loves finding the sparks in life and sharing that with others.
